Beisser Lumber has obtained Chain of Custody Certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC is a not for profit organization that was established to promote responsible management for the worlds forest.

Products carrying the FSC label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations. Only building products bearing the FSC label are recognized by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) for use in Leadership in Engineering and Environmental Design (LEED) program. The LEED program is a desirable way to construct projects that are far friendlier to our environment. Beisser Lumber is now able to purchase and sell FSC materials to our customers.

In conjunction with our FSC certification, Beisser Lumber was also accredited with the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) program. SFI is also dedicated to the wellbeing of the forests and is recognized by the National Association of Home Builders of the Untied States. The SFI is a well established organization with a large distribution of products that are harvested and manufactured is a fashion that is friendly to the environment.

Our commitment is to provide quality renewable resources and at the same time, replenish our environment. We are anxious to answer your questions and inquires and to assist you in your dealings.
