Panelized Walls

Why panelized walls?

Beisser Lumber wall panels can be custom designed for your application. Our services can be as simple as providing wall panels to you or your assembly contractor, or can include all components required to deliver a weather tight structure ready for insulation, drywall and trim activities. Our bundled services allow builders to maximize use of their own time and personnel. Superintendants can spend time with customers rather than counting lumber receipts or reviewing truss submittals.

In February 2007 Beisser Lumber acquired D&D West Homes and formed Beisser Components Division. The acquisition brought over 10 years of experience building custom panelized walls.

Panelized framing eliminates material redundancy often existing with conventional field operations. Computerized design precisely calculates wall material takeoffs so overages in purchasing are avoided. Construction waste is approximently 75% less than typical field framing.

Quality materials and accurate time-line production make every project a cut above our competitors. Engineered studs virtually eliminate bowed walls that are usually found to late in the construction process. Our shop built components are protected from the weather prior to field assembly, and optional shop applied air infiltration barrier further aids in keeping our products dry.

Additional Benefits:

  • LEEDS Project Points for framing without using FCS material
  • Easier and more consistant scheduling
  • Only basic carpentry skills are required for labor
  • Better material selection to assure straighter studs for easier finishing
  • Choice of exterior sheathings
  • Cleaner job sites
  • Decreased job site theft
